Our Story

Our Story

  • The Experts to Get You Back on Your Feet

Since 2000, the Foot & Ankle Institute of New England has offered high-quality, comprehensive foot and ankle services to patients of all ages who suffer from a vast array of foot and ankle issues.

Our expert team of board-certified foot and ankle surgeons work out of three convenient locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

  • Our Care Philosophy

Our doctors are dedicated to taking the time to get to know you, so we can tailor your care to meet your needs and expectations. We don’t view you as just another “foot that needs to be fixed.” Rather, we understand that our patients often have had to deal with significant pain and disability long before they come to us. We take care to ensure the circumstances surrounding your unique story can be told in a supportive and compassionate setting so that you not only receive the most appropriate medical treatment – but that you leave our office knowing you were heard, understood, and properly cared for.

What We Do

Our services include everything from the most conservative medical treatments and preventive foot and ankle services to surgical solutions that range from simple to complex. There is nothing below the knee we can’t handle. At the Foot & Ankle Institute of New England, we specialize in providing medical and surgical treatment of injuries, deformities, and diseases involving the feet and ankles and lower leg.

At the same time, we never forget there is a person connected to the leg – and we provide the special care and attention each patient requires. It is our goal to educate our patients about their condition and provide easy access to the medical information needed to make informed decisions about their healthcare. Our doctors will discuss your treatment options with you before initiating your chosen treatment plan. Whatever your foot and ankle problem may be, we will work with you to find a solution that’s best for your needs and lifestyle.

Each of our three locations is fully staffed and equipped with state-of-the-art medical tools and technology. On-site diagnostic imaging, as well as comprehensive medical care, casting, wound care, diabetic shoe fittings, and minor in-office procedures are available at each of our offices.

Our History

The Foot & Ankle Institute of New England was founded by colleagues Dr. Stephen Rogers and Dr. Robert Gallucci in 2000 in Warwick, Rhode Island. In 2004, the practice expanded with a new location in Middletown, Rhode Island. Four years later, a third location was opened in Fall River, Massachusetts.

What has remained constant amid the growth and expansion of our practice over the past decades is our dedication to personalized patient care. You are the center of our practice – and we make the time and effort to ensure you receive the type of care and treatment that is best for you.
